Woe is me! I have bloggers' block... I've been waiting for something extraordinary--who am I kiddin'--even ordinary to happen... Something that I could glean anything from to blog about--and....nada! So I am going to leave you with a few interesting facts--and if you have any good blogging ideas for me you creative bloggers, please... PLEASE leave them in the comments. Anything at all--you name it, I'll blog it. (Well, almost anything...) I would blog about the trials and tribulations of visiting family, but the famdamily reads my blog :) (Eh hem...check back in a few days readers...) CommentsThu, 29 Jan 2009 18:08:25 I have a fun little book called "The Writer's Block" by Jason Rekulak. I randomly opened to one page and the prompt was "Describe your most embarrassing on-the-job experience." Surely you've got to have one from teaching? Nicole Thu, 29 Jan 2009 18:19:13 I need that book! And I totally have one of those--only it's actually on of my friends most embarrassing on-the-job experience--I'll do that one--she'll love me for it! Thu, 29 Jan 2009 19:51:40 Nicole, I live in a constant state of bloggers' block (except during political season). Right now I am debating posting some rather harsh but VERY funny stories I got in emails (just afraid of offending some people with the language). Otherwise, I have a couple of maybe/maybe nots, but nothing firm. So at least you're not alone. ☺ Nicole Thu, 29 Jan 2009 20:31:45 Hi Matt, Fri, 30 Jan 2009 05:40:09 LMAO! Love the word zedonk! Totally interesting. Fri, 30 Jan 2009 08:59:20 Must say I'm a bit surprised you've got blogger's block, you always seem to have something interesting to share. Sorry, don't really have any ideas myself, but I wish you luck in your experience with the visiting family. Fri, 30 Jan 2009 11:46:48 I like the embarrassing work story idea. You can also tell us how you met your husband, talk about a pet, or something cute that Katie did. Hopefully, you will be prolific for a while. Fri, 30 Jan 2009 12:10:17 I think you pulled it off just fine. We wouldn't have known you were blocked if you didn't tell us. The post was humorous and educational, as usual. Fri, 30 Jan 2009 12:16:34 Sometimes it's hard to focus when you're visiting family - I know when I was in Seattle last year visiting my family, it was tough to keep up with my weekly updates for my web design clients...I can't imagine how adept I would have been at keeping up blog posts on a regular basis the 2 weeks I was out there...(grin!!) You always seem to have something to blog about - and do it very well! :) Nicole Sat, 31 Jan 2009 08:46:12 Hi all, Leave a Reply |
