I was contemplating on my sharing this next post, and I decided what the heck…  If you’re a guy, you might want to pass on this one—‘nuf said! 

So one of the lovely side effects of chemo is that it pushes some women into menopause—which I thought was the case for me.  It’s been over 2 years since “Aunt Flo came for a visit.”  Imagine my surprise!  I certainly wasn’t prepared for my new guest.  But, it’s like a bike, once you’ve lived through one bitchy, witchy week, they’re all pretty much the same… 

Unless you have a three year old.  Unless you have a three year old in a bathroom stall when you have to  “make the switcharoo.”   So I’m trying to nonchalantly pull the ol’ lady lolli out of my purse, and sure enough, Kate is inspecting my every move.  I  try and distract her, but she’s not having any…  I have to move forth; there’s a line… 

Kate: Mommy, what are you doing?

Me:  Kate, pick up that toilet paper off the floor.

(I’m going in my purse for the lolli…)

Kate: Mommmmmmy (long and drawn out)  a cheese stick?  I want a cheese stick!

*snickers from the other ladies…*

*sheepish grin*
