Here we go...
I hold on to things way too long—I have a closet full of wishful thinking and three rolls of toothpaste that aren’t quite empty...

My dad always told me that if I wanted something done quickly, find the laziest person in the room… I think he was trying to tell me something. (Hold on, my husband needs my help!) 

The world just looks better from my vantage during football season—beauty is definitely in the eye of the beer holder…  (My favorite drink is actually a cranberry vodka--but it wasn't as punny.)

I put important stuff away in really, really safe places, and then I can’t remember where the hell I put them… (C'mon, I know I’m not the only one who does this!)

I love my cat more than just about anything—so much so that I give her insulin shots twice a day—she’s diabetic and almost 18 years old…  I may turn into one of those cat ladies when I’m old and forsaken; that's what my husband says anyways.

I’m annoyed by those who correct grammar errors incorrectly.  Or they bother correcting grammar mistakes made by others only to make different errors in their own text. (I know I’m opening myself up for a major backlash of grammar corrections—you traditionalist grammarians are all the same!)  BTW—I know that I use the ellipsis incorrectly; I just like the way it feels when I type dot, dot, dot…

I’m a rebel and a rule breaker, if you can’t tell…

My daughter Kate is the most important person in my life… I love you my Kate--to Texas back to Washington down to Hawaii and back to Arizona! (And to the moon and back, too.)
 
Now, I’m to pass on the “You Rock” award to 8 other special blogs—that’s a lot!  I’m going to make up my own rule and go with 4.  4 just seems more reasonable to me.
